Director's Message

I want to welcome you to the Web site of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at the University of Illinois. We are sponsored by the Bernard Osher Foundation and the Office of the Chancellor, and we are proud to be one of the newest OLLIs in the country.

We are part of a national network that proves learning is ageless. OLLI offers you the opportunity to take a fresh look at your world and your place in it. This is lifelong learning for the joy of it. Here, you will be among friends, learning without tests or grades. We offer you a way to connect with others who also believe in staying active and engaged in life. Like all OLLIs, we are member-led; our members guide the programs. In fact, we depend on people just like you for your experiences and insights to help us grow this special community.
